@26pglt I've just read the article. It left me rather confused. The map shows WA & SA as being the most affected, then western Vic, with [this is the bit i cannot fathom] Qld itself, & NSW, being almost free. How can the article fail to explain the logic, given afaik the current severe infestation is SE Qld, now leaching also into northern NSW? So, how do these bastards get over to WA & SA; not by rafting? How do the current infestations magically disappear? Methinks i have seriously misunderstood some vital info somewhere...
Oh, i've just realised i was misinterpreting the map, i failed to notice initially the faint light-grey-on-white font also in the eastern states. So what does the red mean then? It's bloody misleading; i assumed red denoted the danger zones & ergo white was "free".
Anyway, i still want to know how the bastards cross the Nullarbor.
