I forgot that I had a subscription item at #Amazon until I got an email telling me my window for managing the delivery is coming up.
Suddenly they’ve removed the ability to cancel “subscribe and save” subscriptions.
I had to do a chat to get it canceled. And I’m happy I got to tell him all this.
He didn’t even try to argue with me he thanked me for all the detail. And then he canceled my subscription for me. I also told him I think it’s illegal for them to not let us cancel with a click, but whatever I won’t be doing it again.

The unfortunate fact that “enragement drives engagement.” has sullied the online experience for all #Internet users and contributed to the #enshittification that now engulfs us all in corporate BS. FFS, I go back to the pre-internet BBS days and it wasn’t always this way. I suppose given the proclivities of #capitalism it was inevitable that behemoth greedy corporations would buy-up and colonize cyberspace and then sell it back to us in #subscriptions format. This is why the #Fediverse is so important, especially now.
