DE-CIX (who I work for) hit a new all-time peak value for traffic on April 8. It measures the data flowing through internet exchanges, operated globally by the company with HQ in Frankfurt, Germany:

25 terabits per second

If you'd print this amount of data on A4 sheets, you would get a stack of paper 20x the height of Mount Everest. That's quite a lot, all in one second.

I always wonder what kind of traffic traverse between these networks and Meta.

Swiss Telecom Regulator (ComCom) ordered #Swiss dominant ISP #Swisscom to provide zero-settlement #peering to a smaller Swiss provider Init7.

Decision took 11 years ....

Decision can be appealed by Swisscom with Federal Administrative Court though ... but it's a big step!!
