Terminei a run do Hickman. Em muito má altura para me ver privada dos Moloids adoradores de Ben Grimm nem o grande leitor Dragon Man com o cunho particular que o Hickman lhes deu.
A maior ironia desta série de livros de bonecos é que versa sobre um mundo de mulheres, mas contado sob a perspectiva de uma empáfia jactante própria de homens cheios de si. Aquela vasta estirpe de indivíduos a quem tudo foi, e é, permitido, incluindo chico-espertice misógina travestida de empoderamento feminino.
Mal posso esperar para terminar este calvário confirmativo de que há muito corno pronto a fingir que vê as mulheres como seres humanos completos, enquanto tem a certeza de que lhes é superior, precisamente por ser um homem.
Submitted the "Minions at Work" cartoon for #PulphouseFictionMagazine issue 35 at 3:34AM last night. I'm currently doing a 2 page story plus a "cover" photo for the mock comic cover that leads off the feature. The cover is essentially a stand-alone single panel cartoon having nothing to do with the actual story (but probably with the following issue's story). We've had printing contrast problems on the B&W print edition, which I hope we've fixed. #comics#sequentialArt#minatures#actionFigures

Working on laying out the newest "Minions at Work" comic in Adobe InDesign for Pulphouse magazine. Have a rough script in my head, lay out the panels from there, then go back and write the final dialogue balloons, often starting at both ends and meeting in the middle. And yes, they're doing a classic Star Trek TOS "Lean to the left" in the final panel. Page 1 of 2.
Dated 3/31/2006, this is the first "real" Minions at Work photo cartoon that I posted on the net. 18 years later, I'm still doing them, now as a 2 page story, plus faux comic cover, for the monthly "Pulphouse Fiction Magazine." Sadly interesting that the subject matter and themes are as current as today's news, but my "Minions" were always about people making the best of working shitty jobs working for shitty, uncaring, bosses. #cartoons#sequentialArt#union
