Avoided it, ever since I started knitting again. The whole knit then purl skip stitch then purl the knit but leave on needle then go between then whaaat? All with a tapestry needle.
Proud to say a. I did it, and b. It really does look good. I love the way there is basically no edge, stitches just disappear into the air. Hmm, might be my new go-to.

Periodic reminder to myself that I am not a full time #maker and so should not hold myself up against those who are being paid to work on projects as part of their living or in retirement. I have a full time job which supports my family, and a volunteer 'job' as a director and event host at a makerspace. So it is no surprise I have no time for my hobby making (even at the makerspace which has essentially become work that I pay to do). In my spare time I hopefully inspire kids to explore tech.

Pink yarn is a cashmere blend in Pink Flower from #Temu (when I tried them out, pero no más), two strands variegated Rowan Fine Art in 301 Serin, a wool mohair silk polyamide blend.

Just updated my 3D printing workstation with a monitor arm and a Mac Mini! This setup makes it way easier to stream directly to MakerDeck, the 24/7 live stream of makers from around the world.

Currently testing a DIY lightbox using a 3D-printed lithophane photo. Not sure yet if the LED strip will be bright enough when mounted along the outer wall.
For direct backlight, I’d have to cut and solder it to the rear panel… not exactly thrilled about that part. #3Dprint #lithophane #maker
