In this video you can see how we arranged the huge speaker with the projector to create this living, breathing sound sculpture, that creates such a calm, meditative atmosphere.
One laptop is running @vcvrack with, the other laptop runs Tooll3 with a patch that also has two states.
Both are everchanging...

a few weeks ago DIHAN welcomed anonymity in its widest sense; there were hyper exposure of identity, alter ego’s, sensuality, and mystery as a way of expressing anonymity.

The forest awakens, a gentle breeze moves the petals.
Life ensues.
Later in life, some of the colour has worn off, things get slower.
Contemplation settles in with thoughts of Zen and Wisdom.

I have an art project. I need a part of it to light up, in purple, on a timer, in sync with a video. The lighting has to fit in a space that’s 24" x 10" x 3". I need it for Monday.
Having seen installations everywhere, and many projects online, I’d been wanting to play around with programmable lighting, but had never found an application, and I just got the call. There are a ton of colour LED systems out there. Seemingly all of them driven are driven by phone apps or smart home ecosystems. My expectation was that most of these apps would have pre-programmed effects, and wouldn’t be able to run a timed pattern - it was hard to tell without buying them and testing their capabilities.

How To Touch a Dragonfly presents a reinterpretation of a #dragonfly experience through sound and animation within a dome structure modeled after the creature's eyes.
Since some of you seem to enjoy these tessellation experiments, here's an old projection mapping installation project of mine for which I combined similar patterns with digital fabrication (laser cutting & cutting plotters) to produce two Victorian-style room dividers with 620 handfolded paper cones, which were then used as 3D projection surface. Visitors could use an iPad app, housed in a small dolly table (also laser cut), to produce custom animated patterns which were then projected onto the paper cones...
