I was thinking yesterday of random old things, and one thing struck me.
Remember when Andrew Dice Clay's onstage persona "The Diceman"'s standup comedy (?) was regarded as so offensive, misogynistic, and regressive that it got him perma-banned from TV?
Today, you can add in lying, cheating, rape, backstabbing and a dozen other pathological qualities and the USA will elect him president.
Simpler times.

However you look at it the people of the #USA gave the seat of power to an #egotist, a #misogynist, a #felon, and worst of all, an #idiot.
Power is not taken, it is given. Actively, or passively.
In this case too few Americans voted for freedom.
But I wonder, even if enough of you had seen what was coming, would you have done differently?
If you get another opportunity to vote for a presidential candidate, and I can't be sure you will, please make sure you do, and with a clear knowledge of just what it is you're voting for.

I watched the rerun of #SNL last night... the episode with #Harris in the cold-open just days before the election.
It included a scene mocking #TheMangoMoron in an orange safety vest telling women (actual quote) that he'd "protect them WHETHER THEY LIKE IT OR NOT"... not at all something you'd expect a rampant #misogynist and #AdjudicatedRapist to say.
I'm still in disbelief that any considerable number of women would vote for him for ANY reason.
Yes, the " #joerogan test" is a useful way to root out #misogynist s, but may I also submit "bizarre fixation on the Amber Herd trial" as a red flag?
Why is there to be proud of? These often gay cisgender men in a drag and their admirers (seeing "nothing sexual" in their performance yet wearing huge plastic breast and tacky make-up, etc.) have been throwing trans women under the bust for decades.
I admit the USA is fascist in banning drag-queens and it should never be that way, yet drag is -not- fabulous, this caricature of womanhood is actually misogynist. Most trans women do not align with drag-queens and conflating the two while drags are on podiums and dare to visit schools while talented trans women's are recurrently silenced is a shame.
Many trans women refuse to be placed under your silly umbrella which erase their needs which, believe me, are more crucial than parading over a podium in an almost hypocritical celebration of diversity.
