@brad262run if this is tried with the #Olympics it will represent a violation of the hosting agreement. The new IOC President is going to be doing some behind-the-scenes diplomacy to ensure this does not happen with #LA28. Part of the hosting agreement is that an Olympic credential, issued by the IOC through the various NOCs, is an unquestionable visa for entry to the host country during the time of the Games, superseding host country policy.

Just thinking that there are a ton of great options for surprise performances from local musical legends for the #LA28 opening ceremony. Hard choices, but hard to go wrong (except maybe on the 60s scene end of the timeline, as all the survivors will be in their mid-late 80s). No excuses to blow it.

Ever since it was rumoured, I thought it would be epic if #NFL players played #flagfootball at #LA2028 - epic if they played and won, and epic and funny if they played and lost to some no-hopers from (insert country here).

But along with the dates, that fear for the NFL and its owners of the unlikely injuries and of losing face, it will probably not happen.

Would be very cool though if for once they did.
