One of my favorite #folklore tidbits:
In many parts of Greece it was believed that vampires can't cross salt water. Because of this, they often buried suspected vampires on desert islands.
Greek vampires also had an affinity for shoemaking.
So... there are probably a bunch of fashion-forward vampire islands in the Mediterranean somewhere 
@TarkabarkaHolgy Great for #RPG sessions, the local rich quest giver sends you to a mysterious island that has ceased shipping out luxury footwear. When they get there, everyone seems to be gone for the day....
