On learning that the sun would rise again the following morning, the little hiker was already ecstatic at the prospect of seeing another sunset over Mont Blanc. His reflection itself recognized that this joy was not feigned.<br>

Pas un souffle ne venait rider la surface du lac, laissant croire qu’il était pris par les glaces. Les herbes flottantes ajoutaient à cette curieuse impression.
Mais on ne trompait pas si facilement la Grande Casse, bien décidée à contempler la subtile teinte matinale de ses nuages.

Alors que les Platières émergeaient doucement d’un sommeil réparateur, le Mont Pourri, lui, tardait à s’éveiller, engourdi qu’il était par ce froid matin de septembre. Pendant ce temps, les cailloux barbotaient dans les eaux fraiches du Lac de la Plagne.
