Lupe: Sir, you've been eying my son for a bit. I am going to ask you to leave this property and not return.

Gomez: No offense but your son is an absolute man child that needs to be dealt with at once. Now kindly, step aside.

Lupe: Sir, if my son has done something wrong, you go to me about it instead of going after him yourself. LEAVE NOW.

Gomez: (His eyes light up in a prepared attack before backing down after noticing something.) Perhaps another time, you're contaminated goods...

Lupe: What exactly is that supposed to mean?

Gomez: Nothing for you to worry about, for now, I bid adieu. (Gomez now knows Lupe is a Vampire.)

Encore un dessin issu de mon carnet du Japon ^^ aller, après je vous montre d'autres choses, promis !

Cette illustration aux crayons de couleur représente trois femmes devant un mur peint où apparaissent de grands oiseaux aux plumes bleues et orangées, intégrés dans une végétation dense. L’une descend un escalier en bois, tandis que les deux autres se trouvent sur une plateforme, l’une assise et l’autre debout à ses côtés. Leurs vêtements, aux motifs organiques et colorés en teintes plutôt rouges, se démarquent du fond peint qui se déploie derrière elles.

Aller, un autre dessin de mon carnet du Japon. ^^
Je l'ai dit dans un post précédent, mais j'aime beaucoup dessiner les oiseaux!

Bon week-end !!

Ce portrait aux crayons de couleur représente une femme rousse de profil, son regard tourné vers nous. L'image est composé de quelques couleurs seulement, majoritairement bleu foncé et bleu turquoise, et un maquillage jaune souligne les yeux et les pommettes de la femme, contrastant avec le fond bleu foncé. Sa chevelure relevée est maintenu par des pics décoratifs bleu clair. Elle porte une grande boucle d’oreille circulaire, sur laquelle est dessiné le motif d’une chouette chevêche. En arrière-plan, des formes géométriques bleu turquoise reprennent ce même dessin, se déployant sur la composition.

J'ai été invitée à participer au dernier Titan Terrible, revue de bandes dessinées éditée par Turbo Time Travel, dans lequel j'ai fais cette illustration en double.

Merci à TTT pour l'invitation, j'ai beaucoup aimé travailler dessus!

Cette illustration aux crayons de couleur a été réalisée pour le dernier Titan Terrible, édité par Turbo Time Travel, un collectif nantais de passionnés de bande dessinées. On peut y voir un sous-marin volant qui affronte une tempête dans la nuit, illuminant les vagues tourmentées de ses phares. À l’intérieur, une exploratrice souriante, accompagnée de ses plantes et de son toucan miniature, s’accroche à la poignée du plafond et de son siège pour ne pas perdre l'équilibre dans tout ce mouvement. On peut voir atour d'elle un immense squelette de serpent émérger des flots, entourant le sous-marin. La tête du squelette présente néanmoins des écaille et nous regard de son grand oeil jaune.

Aller, cette fois-ci un grand dessin, pour alterner!

Nuage et compagnie,
crayons de couleur sur papier, 48 x 36 cm.

Il s'agit d'une illustration réalisée aux crayons de couleur représentant une enfant chantant dans un microphone, sur la terrasse de sa cabane en bois. Celle-ci repose sur un visage féminin sculpté par les nuages. Autour d’elle, de nombreux oiseaux de différentes espèces volent ou se posent sur les branches. Un nid contenant plusieurs œufs est installé sur le toit de la cabane. Au premier plan, des vagues de nuages provenant du visage ondulent, recouvrant partiellement la forêt au dessus de laquelle elles volent.

Coucou,
voilà un autre dessin aux crayons que j'ai beaucoup aimé réaliser (<=j'adore cet emoji ^^)

Sur la mer...,
Crayon de couleur sur papier Accademia 200g, 29,7 x 42 cm.

Il s'agit d'une illustration réalisée aux crayons de couleur représentant un groupe de poissons géants surgissant de l'eau, au milieu de laquelle navigue un tout petit bateau. Les vagues qui résultent de ce mouvement sont tellement grandes qu'elles créent une tempête, mettant à mal le marin. Les poissons présentent des motifs détaillés et colorés dans des tons de jaune, orange, vert et bleu, contrastant avec les formes dynamiques des vagues bleues turquoises.

Un dessin fait dans un carnet acheté lors de mon voyage au Japon, il y a longtemps maintenant (j'aimerais vraiment y retourner ^^)!

La chasse aux champignons

Avalon: For the most part, Ancient Greek pottery art was like how modern day is, for decoration. Some were pretty elaborate like a jug made to look like a fish to painted scenes of day to day life or mythology.

Avalon: Othertimes, condiments and drinks were stored in these ceramics. The unholy abomination known as 'Garum' was highly popular. Wine was often served in pitchers and poured into saucer cups called "kylix".

Babylon: With that, our doll is ready to show! Thank you all for joining us! <3

Babylon: Pin your pattern on top of two sheets of felt. You won't need a seam allowance this time. cut until you have two of each pieces.

Babylon: For the blanket stitch, make two marks on your thumb. This will help with spacing when sewing. Thread the needle like a necklace and double knot at the ends. Remember to stop sewing where limbs are to be sewn in.

Blanket Stitch Illustrations: Blanket stitches look something like this when sewing (It's like a loop de loop with the thread) Blanket Stitch in a simplified illustration (Should make a chain on the edge of the felt to hold it together.

Babylon: With the limbs, you will need to do a baste stitch. (Illustration of the limb being attached to the main body) Once the limbs are on, continue blanket stitching until you are left with a small opening for adding in the stuffing. Once all stuffed, blanket stitch it closed. Anchor stitch, which is like an in place blanket stitch is the ending for sewing by hand.

Babylon: With everything assembled, we can now use the forbidden condiment bottle to decorate it!

Avalon: While we pipe, let's cover a brief history lesson.

Curly: AKA Ava has been binging on an 80s cartoon about little blue guys.

Babylon: In the meantime, let's cover the materials needed for the project!

Avalon: It can't be helped, the stories are good and the mushroom homes are super cute.

Curly: It's okay Avalon...

Eileen: We can't build mushroom homes.

Babylon: What you'll need is sheets of felt, embroidery threads, pins, needles, scissors, puffy fabric paint, stuffing, and a pattern for the doll.

Avalon: Let's cut straight to the project! I'm sure we're eager to have fun.
