Upon further reflection on the Meta news, I'm wondering if it's even ethical to use React/React Native. If not, does that extend to projects like Next.js?
Maybe using it is fine, but contributing code to the official repo is unethical?
I don't have an answer but, whatever the case, it's not like we have a shortage of JavaScript frameworks to choose from.
I just let me FB friends know I will no longer be on FB and they can reach me here or by email. FB is now alongside others like xitter and myspace.

Federation from Threads is (for now?) a one-way street: posts AND replies from Threads get pulled in here, but replies here on a post that was originally from Threads do NOT show up there.
I haven't looked for their announcement, they probably played it as "we are working on a more complete feature set", but it feels like a selfish move: "Let them do the work and generate traffic for us."
