iOS 18.3 adds a couple of new features to Visual Intelligence on the iPhone 16 series: IDing plants and animals, and making events. Those are actually features that have been around for a while, on any iPhone, just not as slick. Over at CNET, I explain how to do it:
After installing the latest #iOS update, I gave #Apple’s #VisualIntelligence a quick test. I pointed the camera at a closed interior door in my house.
It identified the object as a door. Identified the style of the door, and just to cap it off as passively aggressive as possible, it gave me cleaning tips on how to get rid of the dirty fingerprints.
