Little bit of #VisibleMending yesterday, Taro chewed on the edge of my slippers, luckily there's not much fabric there anyway but I wanted to make sure the edges didn't keep fraying. Next I need to wash them because the other day he ran in covered in mud from all the rain we've had and got it all over my shoes near the door lol

An indoor/outdoor Subu slipper, the back part which barely has an edge to it has been stitched up in a rainbow pattern. The slipper has some dried mud on it.

The Llama's favorite shirt recently developed a small patch of holes on the back.
being a favorite shirt meant that we couldn't just leave it, so we discussed options & a small Ladybug was settled on.
the inner patch is from an outgrown shirt of similar pattern

the stitching is a bit messy as this was my first time working with waste canvas on doubled t-shirt material. but we are both very pleased with the outcome.

the inside of a pink/purple tie died t-shirt showing where a patch of material from a similar tie tied t-shirt with the zig zag outline of having been cut with pinking shears has been attached and cross stitched over - the back side of the cross stitch is a bit messy and off center to the patch, but everything looks securely attached.

@bammerlaan@pixey.org @sewing Further process pictures of the thrilling development of this #sashiko patch pocket. Doing this on the train to and from a Groningen concert turned out to be a good activity.

The back of #hitomezashi sashiko is supposed to look as neat as the front, with the excess thread tucked between two layers of fabric. I don't have two layers of fabric, but you'll only see the front, anyway. So 🤷
