With their waddling gait, short legs, and slow walk, bestial human penguins are considered quite comical, and because of this they have little difficulty being accepted into many human communities, though they may find themselves figures of fun in these. Of course, most humans overlook the carnivorous nature of penguin-men, and the fact that these birdoids can deliver a savage bite with their beak (SV +7/ DMG 1d10).

Traveling to #Bogotá from #Canberra, I got around to watching the first few episodes of #ThePenguin. I'd stalled previously part way through episode 1, but I'm now gripped.

Episode 4, which goes into Sofia Falcone's past is a brutal portrayal of how much power the ultra-rich have in a corrupt society to disappear anyone they find inconvenient.

It's particularly frightening in a world where our societies expand incarceration and pay less and less lip-service to due process.

Me ha gustado "El Pingüino", buena exploración del universo DC y buena recreación de los inicios del villano. Sin ser el malo más carismático, su historia te atrapa. Recomendable.

Nunca pensé que vería una buena actuación de Colin Farrell, pero la verdad es que como el Pingüino lo borda, más incluso que en "The Batman", se ve que ha tenido más tiempo para fundirse con el personaje. Grata sorpresa.
