G’day tooting friends. I am home, back in my own little space. I’m all unpacked & everything put away. The car has been cleaned I have wine in the fridge & I can’t wait to be in my own bed again tonight. Going away is always great, getting home again is always better. I do enjoy my house/pet sits though, different environment, the animals, sometimes catching up with friends in the area & exploring new places. Nothing beats your own home though.
I went to the supermarket on my home & picked up a few items. Bought 2 bottles of Canadian Maple syrup for my family. There was a choice, but the one I picked was a pure Canadian brand. I didn’t see any US brands but did see one local brand that was a mix of US & Canadian syrup. I turned the few bottles that were there upside down #SupportCanada.

I'm not buying Kentucky bourbon anymore.
I figure any people who can elect Mitch McConnell and the five Republicans they've sent to congress need a damn intervention, not more of my money.
From here on out, I start voting with my wallet. I promise I'm going to get better and better at it over the next four years.
P.S. I was going to boycott Oklahoma products but then I realized there's nothing to boycott.
I'm going to switch from the Amazon Kindle to Kobo. I've not been happy with the Amazon lock-in for a while, but not acted because of the convenience. Right now though I think Canada deserves my money a lot more than America, and the moving to a more open ecosystem is a bonus.
I'm not so bothered about the removing of downloads, I've downloaded a few but I have a couple of kindles that I could use if I want to reread others. That doesn't fund Trumpland, and neither does buying a second hand kindle if I have to do that.
