Are you counting spoons? Are pacing?
My app might help you with this. It now keeps the history of your past days. This might help to find patterns. The history can be exported as CSV to send it to your medical practitioner.

To take my daily piles of pills
gives me no kind of thrill:
«Rassemblez.»
The docs all say they’re not addicting
but it still feels deeply conflicting:
«Tablet-à-manger.»
The surgeons cut out half my guts
(which turned out to be rather nuts):
«Alors, sommes désolés.»
Today has been mostly about waiting.
And trying to store up some spoons for tomorrow's trip
These are not compatible.
I should be ...
Sorting out files for a meeting in 70 mins.
Organising a trip on Tues that will use more spoons than I have.
Finding any recipe to cook tomorrow for which I actually have ingredients.
Checking emails and doing loads of paperwork for the charity.
Scanning a page at a time of a 20 page doc before I post it.
Re that, fixing the new printer that scans faster.
Writing up the Death Cafe before I forget it.
Selling some books to help pay off the new scooter.
Ditto kitchen stuff.
And more.
I should be ... resting.
alright, I do have to repeal some of the congealing anger.
I did get antibiotics, more prednisolone, a walk-in X ray referral, and BELIEVED when they observed I can speak in full sentences etc and I said "I'm compensating a lot rn."
Still angry, still losing it, still not here by choice. But fine. Today COULD have been more shit.
As a spoonie, we're feeling rather called out by the below video on spoons right now

Tried to do some basic tasks like taking down dry clothing and hanging up laundry. Had to pause and retreat to bed

I just learned about the #spoontheory. And you should too.

First time I heard about and referenced the Spoon Theory of disability was some point prior to December 2015. By that point I had accepted at least one of my disabilities.
Season Two Episode Six: Gentle Gardening on Limited Spoons with Erin Alladin
Erin Alladin’s new e-book “Gentle Gardening: A Guide for Uncooperative Bodies” is transformative, specifically covering the issues of gardening with chronic fatigue and the other complex disabilities that can accompany it, and reframing gardening as an accessible and fun activity. Ariel talks to Erin in this episode about her journey with gardening to where she is now, the book, a bit about gardening on Turtle Island as a settler, and tackling the gardener’s mindset and impostor syndrome that may come with it.
You can visit Erin’s blog at EarthUndaunted.com to learn more, and check out GENTLE GARDENING: A GUIDE FOR UNCOOPERATIVE BODIES. You can connect with her at TikTok, X, and Instagram @ErinAlladin.
"what they need most is someone affirming that their right to their own choices is absolute"
I need to get this engraved onto a brass plaque and screw that plaque onto the inside of my forehead.
(I come from a family with a long tradition of "Free Advice Is Worth What You Pay For It", which disclaimer then serves as an excuse to dish out unlimited quantities.) (I may have some spiritual debt around that )
