Ukraine advances in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast

#Ukraine launched a small-scale #offensive in #Belgorod Oblast in late March, marking #Kyiv’s second cross-border operation in #Russian territory after the August 2024 #Kursk incursion.

“Our forces continued their activity in Kursk Oblast today and are maintaining their positions. In Belgorod Oblast, our military advanced and increased our zone of control,” Zelensky said.

#Russia has effectively launched an #offensive on the #Sumy and #Kharkiv regions.

This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of #Ukraine, Oleksandr #Syrskyi. According to him, over the past week, the #Russians have almost doubled their offensives on all major directions of the front.

He also added that #Russia aims to fully capture the #Donetsk and #Luhansk regions, as well as parts of the #Kherson and #Zaporizhzhia regions.

I was thinking yesterday of random old things, and one thing struck me.

Remember when Andrew Dice Clay's onstage persona "The Diceman"'s standup comedy (?) was regarded as so offensive, misogynistic, and regressive that it got him perma-banned from TV?

Today, you can add in lying, cheating, rape, backstabbing and a dozen other pathological qualities and the USA will elect him president.
