Today, I helped to run an Interschool Chess Tournament, had an impromptu meeting regarding growing Tasmanian Chess, and then went to my local chess club in Launceston where I won a fast play event.

A cool morning. Went down to 6 °C overnight. Warming up fast but I had the bedroom heater for 5 minutes this morning. First time this season! #WeatherToot #Launceston
We are receiving some much needed rain. It's the gentle slow steady type. This is what we usually get and it feels homely. #WeatherToot #Launceston

The big news in #launceston today is we are FINALLY getting a Nandos. This is HUGE. Locals have been pining for a Nandos for over a decade. A FB page was created in 2012 “Launceston Needs A Nandos” with a whopping 397 followers. Well. It’s happening, with a stroke of genius from marketing. “Won’t be longceston” went up in the window!
