#NiemanAward / +972 Magazine provides "vital, human-centered reporting on the war in Gaza"

Harvard's Nieman Fellows honor +972 Magazine with the Louis M. Lyons Award for "conscience and integrity in journalism" for their courageous reporting on Gaza.

The binational team was recognized for documenting the human cost of war, investigating military tactics including AI/drone usage, and highlighting civilian and journalist casualties and the targeting of working journalists in Gaza and the West Bank. Their independent, fact-based coverage provides critical perspectives often missing from mainstream narratives.

"In reality, as anyone with half a brain who was watching those events must surely realize, Trump and Vance were the ones who essentially defecated on their own carpet."
