Enough has been written about the new Metallica album today. Instead, I'd like to introduce a band I loved as a teen: #Mithotyn.
Falls under #VikingMetal but more on the #BlackMetal side. Production was always mixed, but great melodies made up for it. Sadly, they disbanded after three albums.
From this split, two bands emerged: The melodic parts went to #Falconer and the rough charm to #KingofAsgard.
Some #falconry photos! I'm a #falconer but not currently flying a bird, but was able to get some photos of another falconer's bird at the #MichiganHawkingClub winter field meet yesterday. This is a first-year #RedTailedHawk named Lofn (she'll get the red tail feathers when molting into adult plumage).

I've read 30 #books this year that I gave 5/5 stars to, I thought it would be fun to post about one a day to share the books I love. This one was an #audiobook #memoir about a Black man who grew up inner city DC. At first, the only way forward that he found was dealing drugs, but over time, he became a #falconer. The format went back and forth from current day to his childhood and kept me interested throughout.
