This experiment with cacti seeds has been a total failure. More than 90 days, growing lights, proper humidity ... and norhing!!! I am disgusted. #cacti

Quality time with my 0 round brush, painting spines. Better than paying attention to all the chaos, out there.

every now and then I'm like "I want to learn a new metrics/timeseries db" ... then I start doing that and I'm like "ughhh, I've been doing this in at least 6 different ways over the last 15 years, why do it again"
I really miss Graphite
Teddybear Cholla (Cylindropuntia bigelovii) stems detach easily and can take root forming a stand of clones. Desert woodrats collect these “cholla balls” to armor their nests, creating a prickly defense against predators.
