I have this side quest in life: Show people how interesting the construction industry can be. Here are some photos I've taken along the way to prove it.
1. Sitka (by Silver Bay), AK 2014: This project was my first project in the field, acting as the site Quality Control coordinator.
2. Bellingham (Cordata Neighborhood), WA 2019: A winter sunrise shot on the project that pulled me over to the earthwork/civil construction side of the company.
3. Bellingham, WA, 2022: I took this photo of Bellingham from the deck of a barge in the Bellingham Bay as it was being converted to support our company's marine work in Alaska. I wasn't involved in this one, but what a cool opportunity to check it out.
4. Bellingham (Old Town Neighborhood), WA 2025: I'm just really excited about this project. The site was a metal recycling plant on the edge of downtown for many years and I really feel like developing it is going to be beneficial for housing and connecting neighborhoods. That tall machine is for driving rammed aggregate piers into the ground to support the foundation of the new building. I'm the project manager for the earthwork on this one.
