Even if my #PhD is over, I'm still closing some projects I had begun with my former research group in #Warsaw.
In this one, we've studied #Superfluid currents across three regimes (from #BCS to #UFG) in the presence of an obstacle. If currents are too high, vortices appear in the ring.
I can't yet tell if #Atomtronic circuitry will be developed or practical, but this hints that wires with "spikes" inside might make the currents more stable.

There is the old adage that the #Internet would treat failures (including censorship) as an error and route around it.
With two #undersea cables having (been?) broken last week, we have an excellent real-time view into this.
Analysis data collected by #RIPE #Atlas probes (operated by volunteers) shows that even #outage of two major cables result in amazingly little extra delay or packet loss.

So, I am MBCS now, but no idea if that counts as a "professional qualification", assuming a B.Sc. does not somehow.
The CITP application looks crazy, so I have emailed #BCS a summary of why I am finding it hard to fill in for 40+ years IT/software and 30 years running an ISP/telecoms company on their form. We'll see what they say.
The form I am counter signing for someone does allow for "Reverend" but with caveat of "good standing in community", of which I have no idea 
First off, congratulations to Oregon State!
They exceeded everybody’s expectations, and when they look back at their season, in November, this will most likely be the highlight of their year. They looked better than anyone could imagine today and can move forward, full of confidence, as they take on the Mountain West Conference teams.
As for Oregon, the questions remain:
Took four penalties - 
Allowed 309 yards - 
[Although not giving up any sacks] Only sacked OSU’s QB twice - 
Picked up a meager 11.3 yds/pass - 
Completed only 23 of 27 passes - 
Allowed two touchdowns - 
Fortunately, the Ducks have a bye week to figure things out before the real season starts. Let’s hope they can get it together before then!
