I am sorry, 75% of my brain's computing capacity is currently taken up by the implications of the Peppa Pig universe having a zoo
Like, I thought it was neatly divided between mammal and non-mammal. But then they had a crocodile who works at the zoo. And someone having pet guinea pigs...
And all the birds are "animals"
Ben and Holly is about an absolute monarchy constantly threatened by climate change and agrarian reform and it's far less dystopian than Peppa.
@TarkabarkaHolgy apparently in the Richard Scarry books there are butchers shops, with an anthropomorphic pig serving up cuts of ham
@TarkabarkaHolgy I wonder if they have wild bores
We may finally have found the humans.
@TarkabarkaHolgy my daughter got taken to Peppa Pig World which had live dinosaurs (apparently) - it’s all madness
@TarkabarkaHolgy
Seen the Butcher's shop in Richard Scarry's Busytown?
Or what Mrs. Pig cooks for breakfast?

You know Peppa Pig is a mutant with 4 eyes?
@TarkabarkaHolgy we have a Peppa Pig picture book where they visit the zoo. I think at one point they talk about visiting the hungry crocodiles and later meet...Ms. Crocodile the caretaker.
And pretty much everybody they meet is someone's mom or dad. And Mr. Lion the zoo director greets them with a big roar.
It's fucking wild!
@TarkabarkaHolgy My favourite was where the children, dressed up as countries, went to the playground.
NARRATOR: The United Kingdom is on the slide.
