Random unsolicited #TVshows opinion:
The Addams family has always been about subverting clichés and expectations. Hence, #Wednesday should have been about the one goth teen who makes friends easily and gets along well with her parents.

like, we've always loved the character, but they very visibly filed her unmarketable rough edges off, then they decided to tell a very queer story but as a straight romance
@trochee @TarkabarkaHolgy and also we can't help comparing it in our head to the Adult Wednesday Addams fan-made shorts that existed around ten years ago (the studio decided they care about this property again, and had them taken down)
