Alcohol consumption is down a lot for younger people and that’s probably for the best.
As a person who used to center alcohol, I cut it completely 2 years ago and never looked back. The degree to which many societies normalize binge drinking (the UK for sure and also most of corporate life in East Asia) is scary and I’m starting to see friends succumb to various illnesses related to drinking.
