@jefftk And birthrates are declining in a lot of places with better social supports. But, social changes can appear somewhat faster than genetic change, especially something as complex as "I'd like to have a lot of kids".
@jefftk A lot of that discussion has more than a little whiff of eugenics, plus they're whiffing on not-small-enough tail risk from GHG pollution.
