Never got round to an #introduction till now, so here goes.
I'm Jim, I have a wonderful family and live in small town in the Nene Valley, United Kingdom.
My love, outside my family, is nature in all its forms. I've always been keen on photography, but since March 2022, I have morphed into a birder (finding and taking photos of birds). And I love it.
I'm not here for politics, but to share my love of the natural world with you and enjoy similar in return.
Work: I am a Data Analyst (fwiw)
@JimsPhotos Hi Jim. It's good to meet you
@SallyMonster thanks Sally. Nice to meet you too.
@JimsPhotos .Nice to formally meet you.
Rich, semi-retired, previous life as an engineer. Nature nut and obsessive birder/photographer. Food provider to 10 house sparrows, occasional woodpecker or cardinal, some dark-eyed juncos now that the weather is cooler, and a few "need to be put in their place" squirrels. Gardening hustle on the side.
@JimsPhotos
Prolly should have typed "Rich" to indicate name, not social status, lol.
@Rihilism lol, arnt most semi-retirees RIch? Or is that just a stereo type, maybe they are Paul's or Daniels or Dawns
"Rich" is relative, not unlike your Pauls, Daniels, or Dawns
@Rihilism not one of my relatives..
@JimsPhotos Hadn't seen you showing up in either my #Birding or my #Photography columns here, but by luck I saw this in my federated timeline. Now you are followed and that will increase my chance to see what you post.
Welcome onboard, Jim!
@JonasE thanks for the welcome Jonas.
@JimsPhotos happy to meet you
@knowmadd thanks Kevin, happy to meet you too.
