Today was the day. I started on that rosebush. You know, the wild one that crept into the fenceline a few years back. That I didn't deal with when it was manageable. (Because, Life.)

And now it has become a character from the Little Shop of Horrors, and we should all sing a song for my inevitable fate

Did I mention that its friend the honeysuckle got involved?

I figure this is a three-day project... sigh

Today’s Canadian 🇨🇦 province #linocut is Alberta, with its provincial animal, the big horn sheep and its famous flower, the wild rose. The block was inked ‘à la poupée’ (with different colours, green, pinks, yellow and gray-brown, in different areas) and printed by hand on lovely Japanese kozo (or mulberry) paper.

It was obvious, despite the various symbols of the province from which to choose

It looks like I'll be headed to #Seattle (Cap Hill) on Friday evening! I have the week off, and #TomboyX is doing a fun event at #Wildrose.

I could really use the change of pace, and will probably be *way* out of my element, but I would love to hang out with any of you who feel like being social. ❤️

I'll be at Wildrose (maps.app.goo.gl/bm4X5aQzN4fpMy) starting at around 5pm. The TomboyX event goes until 8pm; I may duck out early or stay later depending on the scene.
