@swope I haven't been keeping up with it, but a keyword is "freight tram". Here's a post from 2018:
Taken from @doublelineblock on the Bird Site, here's my Australian public transport bingo card!
I'd use the free space for Victorian ferry because that hasn't been included for some reason (I've caught it to French Island).
All the fours, 4-4-4!
(Bonus point if you had "Collision in Sydney Road" on your Bingo card.)
Nice piece about work (and life) conversations of trams:

Pity the PTV app doesn't have a setting for 'alternative route'. It keeps giving me this one tram even though there's a long walk in the middle section because of track works.
Instead I'm planning to catch the number 1 tram to where it intersects with tram 12 beyond the works.
In inner-city Melbourne, there is always another way! #Melbourne #Tram #Trams #Tramstodon
Welcome to Mastodon, transit advocates who've just joined! If you make an intro post that describes why you care about more transit or less cars, I'll try to boost it!
Also, you can follow hashtags! Here are a few good ones:

So I caught the recruiting tram again and made more photos for all you dorks
(This is a tram that runs in Budapest that has clear paneling so you can see the inner workings. They use it to recruit engineers and mechanics for public transport.)
It is with great pleasure to inform you that the city council of Vantaa, Finland, has decided to build a brand new #tram line!
This Lyon tram resembles those bloody awful C-class trams we have in Melbourne. Same narrow hard seats, though the exterior looks a bit funkier.
New at my Patreon... I sat in a Lisbon square, admiring the city's best tourist attraction - its compact yellow trams, as cute as anything made by humans can be:

A fine piece of often-overlooked civic architecture here in Fitzroy, Melbourne - the former cable tram engine house on the corner of Nicholson and Gertrude Streets. It used to haul long cables under the streets to pull trams along the Clifton Hill and Nicholson Street lines, which operated from 1887 to 1940.

Beautiful sunny autumn day here in Melbourne. Knocked off some work on the laptop in a CBD cafe, so now I'm off on a tram for a French bistro lunch in Fitzroy. As you do.
Sigh as much as I try to avoid them, occasionally I have to ride aboard a crappy C-class tram. Hard to illustrate with this photo just how narrow the seats are, but believe me - they are *very* narrow. And hard. #Melbourne #Tram #Trams #Tramstodon
