I think I found a new favourite fantasy console computer thingy. I love PICO-8 and TIC-80 deeply, but there’s something in Unx’s minimalism that stands out.

Work continues on the #TIC80 demo for #Revision2025's Fantasy Console competition. *So much* snagging needs to happen today!
The engine behind it has a few genuinely novel techniques - certainly new to TIC, and I really want to showcase those well... I'm feeling excited but pressured!

Can set up the notes for a little song, and each note (at the moment) corresponds to a food item, then the challenge is collecting the items.
Right now it's not challenging but I can keep adjusting it. ;P

I just love demoscene videos, or any system.
This one is Timeline 2.
"I'll just quickly write this little tool to import images and ... [one hour of fiddling with tiling and bits later] ... so maybe it's time to bring back glitch art!" 
Showed the kids #Tic80 today. Also brought my Vic-20 with my HDMI adapter to show the computer over the projector.
A couple of the students really spent a lot of time making art, a few others went back to Love2D to work on their cookie clicker.
