This is much needed. No idea what the plan is, but shifting the railway onto the bed of the Armaments Depot branch, so the platform and station carpark is on the same side as (and adjoined to) Havens Head Retail Park, with its petrol station and cafe, all the buses, taxis, and everything else, would seem to me to be the way to go... #MilfordHaven #TfW

On a Qantas flight and the old guy beside me and I both chose wine to drink with the ‘nibbles’ (to be fair, I had water too). The miniature bottle was handed over with a cardboard cup. 
We looked at each other and he dropped the cup on the floor, opened the bottle and took a swig.
My initial reaction was ‘that isn’t cool’. Then, on reflection, I thought ‘that pretty much sums up how I feel about the state of the world right now’ and decided not to judge him on the swig from the bottle approach at least.

#tfw when you're searching around the web trying to figure out what to do about your broken dehumidifier and you discover it's a good thing it broke because it was recalled a year and a half ago due to risk of fire.
Less good: neither the manufacturer nor the merchant I bought it from notified me about the recall, despite the fact that I registered it when I bought it, I live at the same address I did then, and I have the same phone number and email address.

TFW you finish a difficult math exercise and look at the explanation only to realize that your answer is off.
You scramble through the math, thinking, "WTF did I do wrong?" The entire logic looks fine... until you realize that you copied a physics constant wrong.

This morning's train commute was significantly enhanced by the rolling stock. Ok, it was much older compared to the usual ones, but it had clearly been refurbished to a high standard and was so much less stark than the modern #TFW cars. Five coaches too, and a buffet car. I could have upgraded to first class too for a reasonable fee for a full cooked breakfast. Might come to work more often if this keeps up.
That feeling when the red-bellied woodpecker beat you to the feeder, and took the last of the chocolate covered sunflower seeds!

#tfw you get an urgent notice in the morning from the Department of Unemployment Assistance, telling you there's correspondence in the online portal that you urgently need to reply to, and you spend literally all day until 11pm dealing with other urgent stuff, and then when you finally get around to logging into the portal to find out what they want, it's down for its nightly maintenance period.
