I finished two more socks but they are not a pair so there are more castons in my immediate future. Developing a top-down vanilla recipe stored in my head with input from various sources.

Travel knitting is well established so I'm going to have to stop procrastinating now and actually work on the papers I'm giving next week.
Put newly finished sock on foot. Take photo of sock. Wonder why sock looks weirdly rubbish. Realise sock is on inside out

My smartphone camera has problems with the greens, the yarn is less blue and more "green", but the contrast between green and purple comes out quite well. This is the first "Painting Bricks Sock" by Stephen West. Can't wait to finish the second one. :)

What a sock! I completed the first one, the second is in the making. The pattern is #PhillisWheatleyPeters from the book #Bluestockings which does not only contain gorgeous sock patterns but is also a splendid read about of women in UK who simply wanted more than their time would offer them. The pattern might look impressive and intimidating, but is in fact fairly easy and knitted mindlesly after a few pattern repeats
