Please note that X/Twitter owns all usernames and can reclaim them at any time.

If you leave Twitter without deleting your account, with private option on and you delete the app, Twitter may delete your account and release the username @

Sad to see it go, because of how vibrant it was at the time. Downloaded my history, and scrolling back through time was emotional, and I'm glad I was able to get that archive for posterity. But, like so many, I just can't anymore. #riptwitter

As promised in my recent post, I finally got around to finally nuking my account. I already have my archive from two years ago, so there is nothing of value.

Hopefully anyone that is left on that site can find me on Mastodon and also Bluesky as this account is bridged.

I’m done being on Elon’s site, and I’m not going back there, ever again. Been on the site since 2007, but after Elon started ruined it, it’s over for me. My new home is on the Fediverse.
