note（ノート）Brenda Russell ｜有須悟史@『根無し草のつれづれ note版』吉祥寺に長い事住んでいる。 iTunesや着うたフルなどの台頭に伴い、数々の中古CD屋さんは店を閉じてしまったが、まだ頑張っているお店も存在する。その中にココナッツディスクというレコード屋さんがある。 それが、2000年代か2010年代の事かは失念してしまったが、そこで掘り出し物のCDがないか探していた時、好いグルーヴの曲が店内を包み始める。 店番をしていた店員にアーティストを訊ねるとLPのレコードジャケットを指差し、無言でこの人のこのアルバムだよ、と教えてくれた。 なるほどBrenda Russellという人か、とレコードプレイヤーは持ってないので、CDコーナーに当たる。 ターンテー

This is now the 4th Thanksgiving without you Pops, and I miss you more than ever! Today is a very tough day to say the least, as Thanksgiving was our holiday of holidays.

It’s never been the same without you, but I'm doing all I can to enjoy it as best as possible.

This was the last Thanksgiving photo I have of you, and I cherish it more than I can put into words. I love you Pops!
