Nezu shrine in was the clear winner today of the theee we visited. The other two (Senso-ji and Meiji-jingu) were both too busy, and much too touristy.

Wrapping up my small series of posts from the visit to Tokyo’s Nezu area last Sunday, here are a few impressions from “Matcha & Espresso Miyano-Yu”, a café uniquely located in a renovated and re-purposed former sentō (communal bathhouse). Their specialty are matcha drinks, but I went with a Flat White coffee which wasn’t too shabby either. ️

Nezu Walk

Today Tokyo finally got a cooler autumn day with temperatures no higher than 20°C and a fresh breeze - so we went to the Nezu area for lunch and a short walk. In this first post, I’ll share some quick impressions from the walk.
