I spent the last few days checking out Steam's NextFest, and I played (or tried to play) 22 demos. Only one of them failed to launch (on Garuda Linux, which is Arch based). Managed to complete almost all of the rest (had a couple control issues that might be related to Linux drivers/Gulikit controller). So here's a list of the ones I think are worth checking out:

I loved the original #KathyRain, by #ClifftopGames here in Sweden, so of course I was going to make sure I played this #NextFest demo of the sequel!

It's a strong start, for sure. A serial killer has recently murdered a famous author and as the local law enforcement is dumbfounded Kathy has the chance to try to solve the case so she can pay her bills.

The pixel art (including Kathy) is gorgeous, and animations smooth.

just wrapped up playing the demo for Solarpunk store.steampowered.com/app/180 and it's very charming. some rough edges / not immediately intuitive stuff, but finally getting to building the airship and starting to get a feel for how expansive it could be... yea, this could be very cool!

Al final me instalé dos demos más: Game of Thrones: Kingsroad y Nordhold.

Pero, por supuesto, la que he jugado primero es la de Shadowveil: Legends of the five rings.

Un juego de estrategia con autobattle y con un toque roguelige de ir haciendo expediciones pero mejorando cada vez más nuestras fuerzas, habilidades y recursos.
