MLions Head (669m) getting some light during the 2025 edition of Batrun in Cape Town. Shot from a tripod with a Canon EF 24-105 mm lens. Multiple merged 30s exposures to capture the light trails from the runners' headlights and moving stars. The mountain itself is illuminated by the Cape Town CBD. ThePiperThere was a wonderful conjunction of the new moon and Venus on the fourth of September which I really wanted to see and photograph. In Cape Town such events absolutely guarantee clouds so I ended up taking sunset photos instead.
