Seit dem Upgrade auf OneUI 7 / Android 15 auf meinem Galaxy S24 Ultra bekomme ich am PC ständig die Benachrichtigung von "System-UI": "MediaOngoingActivity" über #KDEConnect, sobald am PC irgendwas abgespielt wird.

I use Synergy/Deskflow and Wayland has so many annoying quirks compared to X11. One quirk though, Copy/Paste works so awesome with #KDEConnect. Wow that app has blossomed in such amazing ways. I remember when it first came out, I tried it and quickly removed it. Such a great app!

یک چیزی که کاش #KDEConnect داشت این است که مثل زمانیکه در میزکار چیزی را رونوشت میکنیم و بدون اینکه کاری کنیم میتوانیم در گوشی بچسبانیم، در گوشی هم نیازی نبود که وقتی چیزی را رونوشت کردیم کار خاصی بکنیم تا بتوانیم آن را میزکار بچسبانیم. الآن لازم است گزینهٔ ارسال تخته‌گیره را بزنیم.

Al final sí me voy a quedar con #GSConnect (#KDEConnect) pues me gusta olvidarme del móvil. Soy de los que pasa una parte de su ocio en el #PC. Me resulta muy conveniente para dejar apartado el jodido móvil sin, claro, renunciar completamente. Cosas de la vida, je je.

Ahh... Al eem tijdje nieuw prepaid nummer voor mn reserve foon, maar nog nooit gebruikt of nummer gedeeld.

Word er ineens op gebeld... Nou spontaan maar geblokkeerd, want veel zinnigs kan dat niet zijn.

Handig trouwens dat KDEConnect. Dat geeft ook alle meldingen (indien gewenst) door aan andere apparaten in het netwerk.

Are there any advantages of PairDrop?

Grappig... Ik gebruik KDE Conn om van alles tussen mn apparaten (foon, PC, etc) te regelen. Na een storing moest voor internet alles opnieuw opgestart, maar KDE Connect bleef gewoon functioneren.

Die Gyroscope Mouse von #KDEConnect in #ZorinOS ist ja super.
Das muss ich heute Abend mal ausprobieren.

"Smart home" ohne Cloud:

Wenn ich einen Anruf auf dem Festnetz erhalte, klingelt auch mein Smartphone dank #avm #FritzFon App. Das schickt dann ein Signal über #KDE #kdeconnect an den PC, der automatisch Musik oder Video pausiert. Nach dem Telefonat läuft das automatisch weiter.

Und da sitzt kein Cloud-Anbieter dazwischen. Geil!

Real ways in which I use #KDEConnect day to day:

* My scanner in in the main room and my computer in the office (new furniture should fix that, but it's low prio; in the meantime...). I use my phone to click the scan button on my computer while standing by the scanner, flipping and feeding pages.
* My kids use it to drive the tv (my home/media server with a screen) to see the next episode of whatever they're watching (only while I cook; #parenting). No need to buy a BT keyboard+mouse!

Es gibt noch echte Magie:
Wenn man Handy und Rechner per KDE Connect verbindet, wird nicht nur die Musik pausiert, wenn das Handy klingelt. Man kann auch die Zwischenablagen verbinden und was man auf dem Handy markiert, hat man auf dem Rechner in der Zwischenablage und umgekehrt!

#KDEConnect ist so eine richtige Hassliebe. Es funktioniert nur, wenn es gerade Bock darauf hat.
