My 46th most-played album of all time is "What A Pleasure" by Beach Fossils, released in 2011. It's a beautiful intersection of #janglepop and #dreampop, and seems made specifically for my musical tastes. Definitely worth your time.

The Smiths are a great band on their studio efforts, but on compilation albums like this one their weaker material appears and their usual consistency disappears. There are some interesting tunes on here though, showing off that they did in fact experiment with new sounds. Especially Golden Lights struck me. Panic with its line "hang the DJ" is gruesome though and I hate its dumb repetitiveness.
