muetzenfalterin<p><strong>Mit dem “Boxer” in einer Schulklasse</strong></p><p><span><span>Das mit der Aufregung habe ich unabsichtlich trickreich gelöst. Es war nämlich so: pünktlich stand ich vor der Eingangstür des Max Planck Gymnasiums, an dem ich damals mein Abitur im Abendgymnasium gemacht habe und wartete darauf, abgeholt zu werden. Es kam aber niemand. Leider hatte ich keine Telefonnummer der Lehrerin des Deutsch LK, also versuchte ich im Gebäude jemanden zu finden, der mir weiterhelfen könnte. Das hat auch funktioniert. Zum Glück war eine Gruppe dort, die etwas probten und die Lehrerin klärte mich auf, dass das Abendgymnasium schon lange nicht mehr im Max Planck ist, sondern in der Gutenbergschule. Ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß sagte mir Google Maps, und dann war ich also fast eine halbe Stunde nach der Verabredung endlich an der richtigen Schule angekommen, und musste nur noch den Raum finden, aber auch das hat dann geklappt und so kam ich ziemlich außer Atem endlich in der Klasse an. Von Aufregung keine Spur mehr, die hatte ich mir offenbar weggelaufen. An der Tafel mein Gedicht mit farbigen Unterstreichungen, Bemerkungen und Zeichen. Das war schon ein seltsames Gefühl. Frau S. ist schon ganz aufgeregt, ob wir Ihr Gedicht richtig interpretiert haben, sagt eine Schülerin und ich antworte, dass man Gedichte m.M. nach nicht falsch verstehen kann, jede:r liest ein Gedicht auf seine Art, bringt seine Vorstellungen, seine Lebenswelt und seine Erfahrungen mit, wenn er oder sie es liest und sowieso, sage ich, geht es bei Gedichten nicht um das Verstehen, für mich sind die besten Gedichte diejenigen, die ich auch nach Jahren und nach immer neuer Lektüre nicht ganz verstehen kann, die aber etwas auslösen beim Lesen, die ich irgendwie begreife, ohne sie zu verstehen. Es ist wie mit der Kunst, mit Musik und Gemälden, all diese Formen versuchen etwas auszudrücken, über das wir nicht sprechen können, was mehr ist als das, was wir in Worte fassen können, etwas das uns in einer tieferen Schicht unserer Selbst anspricht. </span></span></p><p><span><span>Und dann kommt also der Teil, den ich irgendwie gefürchtet habe, auf den ich aber auch extrem neugierig gewesen bin. Eine der Schülerinnen trägt vor, was sie in der Klasse zu meinem Gedicht erarbeitet haben. Gerade habe ich der Lehrerin geschrieben, dass ich mich sehr freuen würde, wenn ich die Bemerkungen bekommen könnte, gestern hatte ich das vollkommen vergessen. Es ist unglaublich, wie lange offenbar bereits über die allererste Zeile gesprochen worden ist, es gibt Erkenntnisse, die ausdrücken, was ich sicherlich unbewusst irgendwie gemeint und gewollt habe, die mir aber, bevor sie an diesem Abend von den Schüler:innen ausgesprochen werden, nicht bewusst gewesen sind. Es gibt einige Fragen, und dann erzähle ich, wie das Gedicht entstanden ist, wie sehr mich ihre Deutungen berühren, und wie sie im Großen Ganzen genau das treffen, was ich ausdrücken wollte. </span></span></p><p><span><span>Dann ist noch etwas Raum und Zeit für ein kleines Plädoyer für Gedichte, für Lyrik allgemein. Warum, frage ich die Schüler:innen, hat es die Lyrik so schwer an der Schule? Die Antworten überraschen nicht: es ist immer wieder dieses Verstehen müssen, das mir schon vor so langer Zeit, als ich selbst zur Schule ging, den Zugang zu Gedichten eher versperrt als geöffnet hat. Also versuche ich noch einmal dafür zu werben, Gedichten auch einfach so Raum zu geben im Unterricht, die Möglichkeit zu schaffen, sie einfach wirken zu lassen, ohne sie tot zu erklären, ohne diesen Druck unbedingt alles verstehen zu müssen. Gerade bei sehr alten, längst toten Dichtern, sagt eine Schülerin, ist das doch verrückt, dass wir sagen sollen, was der sich dabei gedacht hat. Vielleicht so ungefähr, aber doch nicht so „forensisch genau“. Die Formulierung hat mir gefallen, und sie trifft es eigentlich auch sehr gut. Bei einem Gedicht von Gryphius z.B., bilde ich mir ein, spürt man die Verzweiflung, die Ohnmacht, die der 30jährige Krieg hinterlassen hat, und das ist ein Gefühl, das wir verstehen können, über Generationen hinaus und immer wieder. Warum darüber hinaus die Verse zerstückeln und analysieren, was welcher Reim an Mehrwert hat, usw. Warum das Ganze zu einer quasi mathematischen Übung machen? Warum gibt es nicht die Möglichkeit, dass diejenigen Schüler:innen, die gerne Strukturen suchen und erkennen und analysieren, genau das mit Gedichten machen dürfen und die anderen beschränken sich auf das, was das Gedicht in ihnen auslöst an Gedanken und Gefühlen? Warum nicht ein wenig mehr Offenheit auch auf Seite des Lehrplans, des Lehrkörpers? Denn der Kurs hat mir sehr gefallen, die engagierten Schüler: innen und ihre Gedanken, und ich bin mir fast vollkommen sicher, wäre da nicht dieser dämliche Analyserahmen und der Druck „den Dichter richtig zu verstehen“, man hätte sie für Gedichte begeistern können. </span></span></p><p><span><span>Auf dem Weg nach draußen vertraut mir die Lehrerin an, außer mit meinem und zwei anderen Gedichten, konnte sie mit den Texten aus dem Jahrbuch der Lyrik 2021 nicht viel anfangen. Warum, frage ich und sie sagt: ich habe keinen Zugang gefunden. Ich weiß nicht, wie man diese Hürde aus der Welt schaffen kann, dieses unbedingte verstehen müssen.
