I remember I made this shawl for a MAL over on Ravelry (Make-Along) with the topic Earth and my inspiration was Sedona. <br>
The pattern itself was also a CAL (Crochet Along) by the Designers, but I made it later. In any case - I love the composition of this pattern. Bonus - the yarn is from a small yarnwinder in my country. As small as our country is, that makes her local to me. :D<br>

TanjaOh, I almost forgot about this beauty! I used 2 Yarncakes and alternated them; I ended up using about 1824 m yarn. It's a pattern by a polish designer, essentially it's just charts and I was so proud that I managed to make it. Being able to read crochet charts opens up a whole new world beyond language barriers. I love it. <br>

TanjaHere's another pattern I made several times from when I was a beginner to more advanced. It was also the first pattern I actually bought. In the beginning it was important to me that the patterns I used were free, as I really needed to learn and get a feeling for them. Nowadays I'm happy to pay for a well written pattern or chart. (in fact, I prefer charts now) In any case, this one being the first pattern I bought holds a special place in my heart and I should really make it again. :-)<br>

TanjaI think this was one of the first half circle shawls I attempted. And the one I kept for myself and which gets a lot of wear. (especially since I learned a couple of wrapping techniques). It's very soft and drapeable. <br>
