If I were to pinpoint a specific year/person, it would be 1994 when #NewtGingrich went scorched-Earth to destroy the #Democratic Party in order to win back control of the house after 40 years.
Before that, Dem Speaker of the House Tip O'Neil was good friends with Reagan. The two Parties actually worked together.
The #GOP then embraced #Evangelicals and they went to war. 
Rather than sell to a corporation or shut down, the owners of a #veterinary practice decided to convert the business into a #WorkerCooperative. This #democratic worker-owned model is emerging as a powerful bulwark against corporate consolidation and #WealthConcentration.

The nations that has been able to exploit earth resources is now demanding even more resources. #Putin and #Trump is aggressive towards neighboring countries and allies because they want their resources . #China uses not so obvious or violent tactics but they are also exploiting weaker nations.
