I am at the Armageddon con in #Christchurch and the only #Cyberpunk Red or Edgerunners content I have seen in the whole place is one very good Rebecca cosplay. Sad.
Also nobody has commented on my #Zutomayo themed t-shirt but that’s not surprising, just disappointing.

Not particularly. It's a cyberpunk (and SFF) universe, and while a few of the characters believe in various religions, the majority of them just don't have the capacity for either a superstitious mindset or different beliefs (relating to such a thing).

"The world will be better" (for this)
This is a (7 word) line from the ol' Man of La Mancha Musical. Cheated it down to 5 for the prompt, but this line is the basic moral arc for all of my #cyberpunk stuff. Maybe the world is too big and the powers are too entrenched to "win," but if you can make a dent and the world is a little better, then you've triumphed.

"And the world will be better for this,
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove, with his last ounce of courage,
To reach the unreachable stars!”

For instance, a small excerpt from my #cyberpunk WIP Neon Citadel (actually slotted to come out this year or early next with Spaceboy Books! /selfpromo).
POV character Gash is upset he's a vampire now and his city has changed:
"When he slammed the plastic bottle down and rose, Daiyu looked back over. She didn’t say anything, but her eyes were obviously drawn to the empty sake bottle and the full bowl.
“Auto-chef ruined Phil’s recipes,” Gash growled. And then, before Daiyu could say anything or before he could look at her again, he stepped back and into the deluge, the oily river in the street up to his ankles, the downpour running ashey smears along his face and soaking him to the core, and there was nothing else. Just the concrete beneath his feet and the black hot water and the LED glow of 10 billion lights reflecting down at him from the clouds, a spot-light and a “welcome home” and a big “fuck you” and of course nothing at all but rain falling on a burning city."

Je vous fais un petit top 5 des vidéos dont je suis le plus fier malgré les défauts que je n'arrive pas à ne pas voir (notamment parce qu'elles datent). Je vous jure qu’en dehors des shorts, des vidéos arrivent.
5 - Je commence avec celle qui parle de #cyberpunk et du jeu vidéo, notamment via 3 jeux qui participent à mes yeux au renouvellement de cette mouvance artistique et en ouvrant à la fin sur une réflexion plus générale. C’est sorti avant la release de Cyberpunk 2077 mais ça reste cohérent.
