Angenommen, die akutelle amerikanische Administration dreht noch weiter ab und man müsste davon ausgehen, dass amerikanische Unternehmen ein zu hohes Risiko darstellen, dass man seine persönlichen und beruflichen Daten dort behandelt sehen möchte:
Dann sieht das ganz schön düster aus bei mir. Hier mal ein kleiner erster Abriss wo bei mir überall die Made aus Amerika drinsteckt:
Apple - Smartphone, Tablet, Privat und Berufsarbeitsgerät. MacOS und iOS samt Kalender, Mails, Adressen, Musiksammlung und und und.
Adobe - Obwohl ich seit nun fast zwei Jahren aus der "Creative" Cloud raus bin, ist Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) quasi gesetzt im professionellen (Grafik)Umfeld.
- Alternative: Affinity Suite
Microsoft - Auch hier gibts im professionellen Umfeld kaum ein daran vorbeikommen. Microsoft Authenticator, Microsoft Remote Desktop, Teams, und natürlich die Office Programme (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Alternative: Libre Office
GitHub, GitLab, Attlassian / Trello, Docker etc - Steckt leider auch ziemlich tief drin im professionellen Umfeld.
- Alternative: Selbst gehostete Lösungen?
Amazon - Prime(video) und Onlinehandel
- Alternativen: Onlinehandel anderswo, Prime kündigen
Netflix - (Video)Streaming
- Alternative: Netflix kündigen
Paypal - Onlinehandel
Google - GMail Adresse seit hundert Jahren, Playstore Account wegen Smart TV Gedöns, Youtube et al
Twitter (X) - nicht mehr genutzt, Account behalten wegen des Handles
- Alternative: FediVerse/Mastodon, Bluesky
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) - Vor Jahren Account gekündigt, dann später wegen Bands/Konzerten/Terminen wieder einen gemacht. Immerhin kein WhatsApp. :-/

Diverses - Domainregistrierungen
- Alternative: Umzug zu DE/EUR Registrar
Wie gesagt, nur mal schnell und sicherlich nur die Spitze des Eisbergs.
Privat wäre ein Verzicht auf US-Tech vor allem ein Verzicht auf Bequemlichkeit, aber beruflich sieht es momentan echt finster aus - #unPlugTrump und GoEuropean hin oder her, ohne US-Anbieter wirds in meinem Job schwierig, und als Mac-User seit Anfang der neunziger Jahre wäre es auch echt derb, wenn ich mich nun auf Alternativen bei SmartPhone und Rechner umstellen müsste. Trotzdem: Die Abkehr der US-Administration von Europa, die hohldrehenden Allmachtsphantasien der Tech-Bros hinterlasse gerade ein sehr (sehr!) ungutes Gefühl und eine Inventarisierung und Bewertung, was man in Zukunft nutzen muss und/oder möchte, ist dringend nötig.
