@fcktheworld587 i think it’s quite depended on the ‘interest groups’/social circles your post get’s shared around since there is no algorithm.
i’m quite sure there are many parts (as well as the size of these parts) of fedi i do not know of because of that, which makes comparisons hard.
for me personally, i’d say “not neccecarily” because my only other ‘social media’ is youtube and i basically only follow select creators, many of which are autistic or otherwise neurodivergent.
i’d say it has to do with the double empathy problem that one can realise quite quickly that a neurodiverse peer group is just a lot easier to navigate which then leads to “flocking” of autistic/neurodivergent people both in real life and online.
