For this #ThrowbackThursday, we’ve got #WarioWorld, which released in Europe on this day 21 years ago.

This was Wario’s first and only foray into 3D platforming, and a bizarre game even by that series’ standards. Perhaps due to being made by Treasure, it seemed less like a platformer and more like a series of wacky boss fights with light platforming in between.

Will Wario ever get a game like this again?
