#WIPWednesday

Its barely even still wednesday, but here's a WIP Wednesday post...

I've started working on a retro-ish desk clock / home assistant speaker.

Still early days, but hopefully the design will flesh out and end up useful and printable.

Once I get a bit further, I plan to print this out as a clock only at first to make sure I like looking at the design, then figure out how to squeeze the electronics in.

Witchy's first quilt top. Still needs sashing around the edges and a border, so it's not entirely done.

Then ofc there's all the actual quilting parts. But I am proud of my work. I definitely got better at the blocks as time went on, and there are plenty of mistakes. Even still, I find joy in it. And it's been nice to just focus on precise sewing for hours at a time.

Remember that fancy Frenchie I kept posting for #WIPWednesday? 🎀🐾

His #book is finally live on #Kickstarter ! THE POOCH SALUTE! is a cozy contemporary #fantasy with talking #dogs, Crock-Pot healing potions, and a Fourth of July parade no one’s ready for.

It's got warmth, wit, and second chances—for people and pups.

#WIPWednesday and I'm still working on that commission from last week. Almost there, (50% percent done maybe). That said, tonight I'm taking a quick break from this to put out some D&D homebrew I've had tinkering in the background.

My commissions are always open btw, so feel free to contact me. 👍

#WIPWednesday is all about our #IpswichLace event this coming Saturday!

Event details: nelg.us/Weaving-threads-of-lac

The museum will let me sell my Ipswich lace jewelry (necklaces and pins) so I'm doing the final details. I am also bringing Karen Thompson's books for her if you wanted to see them before buying. They are hard to find in person.

#GatherFiberSymposium has had so many great events this month that I absolutely could not keep up with them.

The back panel for my patchwork cardigan is almost done, just one row of squares left. After that, only sleeves and hems left (which could take me from three days to thirteen months, we'll find out).

Very happy with my choice to work the full panel by switching colors instead of having to sew the individual squares at the end. I thought it would be a tangle nightmare but, as long as I rearrange the yarn balls every couple of row turns, it's fine.
