This 10” came with the 2023 30th Anniversary pressing of In Utero, & as a Nirvana completist, it’s the only reason I bought that less than ideal pressing.
All these songs (plus alternate Scott Litt mixes of the singles) were on the 3xLP 20th Anniversary issue, which I have, & is THE best pressing of In Utero that exists (It’s borderline audiophile).

December ‘93, the week prior to airing, I was riddled with anticipation. Kurt & Nirvana were the center of my young being for 2 years.
The exhilaration of that night was quickly extinguished 7 months later.
It was agonizing, & still is.
The most famous funeral ever, with the departed alive & unwell.
Still painful for me, & a lot of others my age who lived thru it in real time.

One of the most unique, odd, fun, interesting bands of all time. Nobody has ever sounded like them. When you hear one of their songs, you know that it can’t possibly be anyone else.
I have a bevy of amazing memories attached to The Johns; wether it’s from the cartoons I heard them in as a kid, to one of the fourteen (!) times I’ve seen them live.
They just make me feel great.

Not a bad little 2-day road trip haul!
Super clean Peter Gabriel upgrade original copy, some They Might Be Giants, Brilliant Orange (great #80s #vancouver band!), Icicle Works, Blue Murder, and the 2xLP anniversary edition of Nirvana’s Unplugged, which is superior sounding in every way to the 1xLP Europe pressing I had.
Great little road haul!
